GENERAL KNOWLEDGE WEEKLY QUIZZES
General Knowledge Weekly Quizzes are a great way to broaden and extend your pupils knowledge of the world and can be used either as part of an after school or lunchtime club, in the classroom or as further preparation for the Championship.

The quizzes are purchased in sets and each set is composed of 10 quizzes. Each quiz comprises 20 questions of varying difficulty level with associated pictures and an automatic countdown timer allowing 20 seconds to answer each question. Blank answer cards for the players are available to download.
The quizzes run automatically although teachers are able to override the automatic timing of the quiz if they wish. Each quiz takes around 30 minutes to complete including marking.

Children can play individually or in teams, dependent on what suits their teacher. At the end of each quiz, the players are directed to mark each other’s cards.

WHAT AGE GROUP ARE THE QUIZZES AIMED AT?
The quizzes are aimed at children between the ages of 8 - 12 years old playing individually or in teams and conferring on their answers.

GEOGRAPHY – Capitals, continents, flags, population, important geographical features
HISTORY – Most important dates and events in history
SCIENCE – The universe, inventions, elements, great scientific developments
WORLD KNOWLEDGE – Leaders, politics, important recent events, religions, iconic structures
LONGEST, TALLEST, FASTEST, SMALLEST.... - Information about places, people, animals and events
ART – Artists, painting identification
MATHEMATICS – Mental arithmetic, geometry, algebra, fractions, measurement, time and money
SPELLING & GRAMMAR – Selecting the correct/incorrect spelling, comprehension and grammatical rules
GENERAL INTEREST – Current affairs, pop culture, literature, TV, film and music

COST OF THE WEEKLY QUIZZES
The cost of each set of 10 quizzes is £70 + vat or for schools outside the UK the equivalent in your local currency. This charge is invoiced to the school at the time of registering and your link and password are sent to you in order to access the quizzes.
