THE NATIONAL INTER-SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

We run Live Online After School Clubs, giving schools the opportunity to provide their pupils with the excitement, fun, challenge and benefits of a fantastic learning experience on a weekly basis at an exceptionally affordable cost of £3 per child per week.

 

The quiz is presented live online by our professional Quizmaster and the children play using any device (PC, laptop, tablet) which our system converts to a handset.  This enables us to include children from schools across the country, making it a unique after school experience for the players, with children teaming up with each other from around the UK.

The quiz, which is 45 minutes long, is composed of 25 fascinating multiple choice general knowledge questions and the players answer every question using their handset.  Throughout the quiz, the quizmaster embellishes the answers with plenty of additional detail, making the quiz really entertaining, capturing the children’s imagination and lighting the fire for further knowledge.

 

As well as the quizzes being fantastic fun, they are also highly educational and inspiring.  Momentous events in history, incredible geographical landmarks, amazing science, beautiful art, inspiring music and literature, cultures from around the world, current affairs and world knowledge all feature in our quizzes and serve to broaden your pupils’ knowledge of the world around them.

At the end of the term each player receives a Quiz Club certificate to mark their achievement in participating.

WHAT DO YOU NEED AS A SCHOOL TO OFFER THE CLUB?

We make the organisation of the club for a school as simple as possible.  All you will need is:

​

• A teacher, teaching assistant or parent to oversee the children

• A PC/whiteboard/TV to watch the quiz on

• One device for each child to use as a handset (eg a tablet, PC, laptop or similar) – if you unable to provide one device for a handset per child, then children can share.

• A suitable room with a good internet signal.

We do the rest, including setting the children up on their handsets and running the quiz from start to finish.  During the quiz, we are always on hand if the person overseeing the club needs any help.

TAKING PART IN THE CLUB

We offer complete flexibility in terms of weeks you wish to participate and how many children take part.

​

• You can have as many or as few children taking part as you wish.

​​

• We run the clubs throughout the term and you can select which session dates suit you.

​​

• You can start the club at any time during the term.

​​

• You tell us how many children are taking part each time you login, allowing for complete flexibility.

​​

• Each month, we invoice your school for the number of children that have taken part that month.

​​

• We provide you with a leaflet to send out to parents.

​​

• We send you the link and passcode and full instructions for setting up.

​

THE COST OF THE CLUB

The cost of the club is £3 per child per session. Parents book and pay for a place in the club directly with the school. At the end of each month, we invoice your school for the number of children that have taken part during that month.

Schools wishing to offer a Quiz Club to their pupils would need to decide which weekly session they would like to take part in.

WEDNESDAYS      3.30pm – 4.15pm

FREE TASTER SESSION FOR THE CHILDREN FROM YOUR SCHOOL
